About TVmomma:

I created this blog a few years back when I used to watch television 14 hours a day. I was getting highly-opinionated with what I see on TV and I wanted to spare my husband from my rantings so I thought of blogging about them instead.

I have called TV as my amusement park -- right in my own home. But now, things have changed and my TV viewing has been limited. I still post on this blog but only when I felt so strongly about what I've seen, and when I have the time.

Davenport Beats Ivanovic

Lindsay Davenport beats the second seeded player Ana Ivanovic on the third round of Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, FL. This is their first career meeting.

Just a week ago, Ana Ivanovic, a 20-year old from Serbia, won the championship at the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells. I guess she must still be tired from that event. It was sad to see her go home so early in the competition.

Actually, I really wanted Davenport, the American, to win the match. I really could see her determination to win. She was the veteran and she was formerly No. 1 during the peak of her career. After deciding to come back in July last year and now ranked at No. 33, she is now in the court, literally, with a vengeance. This is impressive because Lindsay just gave birth ten months ago. She is 31 years old.

I will be watching more of the Sony Ericsson Championships. It is aired on FSN or Sun Sports. Since it is in Florida where I live, it is easy to catch on TV.
