About TVmomma:

I created this blog a few years back when I used to watch television 14 hours a day. I was getting highly-opinionated with what I see on TV and I wanted to spare my husband from my rantings so I thought of blogging about them instead.

I have called TV as my amusement park -- right in my own home. But now, things have changed and my TV viewing has been limited. I still post on this blog but only when I felt so strongly about what I've seen, and when I have the time.

For reprint and for anything else, please leave a message on the comment area. Thank you.

Miss USA 2008

Miss Texas won the Miss USA title for 2008 and would represent the country this July for Miss Universe pageant. It will be held in Vietnam.

Well, this may sound racist but here are my thoughts:

Miss Texas is the only black in the top ten, if not in all of the participants. I thought she would win it just because of this fact. Neverthesless, she answered intelligently to the question about drafting young people to the military saying it should be a matter of choice.

Miss Texas, who I did not get the name of, stands out among the rest literally. The profile of her back is just beautiful.

Miss Mississippi said it was not just her beauty but her intelligence that got her to the competition. She is the runner up and would the take the place of Miss USA in case the unpredictable happens.
