"Holy Kate, Mother of 8!"

Jon and Kate Plus 8 has become a show where two famous people, namely Jon and Kate Gosselin, give interviews, talk about themselves, not to mention, defend themselves. It has become a show-off between two divorcing couple/parents who are voicing out their side of the story. Last night's season finale was about self-justifications and explanations of why the other (mostly Jon) is not doing the "right thing" when it comes to parenting.

What struck me was the admittance of Jon that he was too young (22) when he got married: at 23, he had the twins; at 27, he had the sextuplets. That's pretty much a big responsibility for someone who was just growing up himself. I speak even for Kate. I can relate to both of them because I started having kids when I was 24 and the obligation and expectation that comes with it is enormous.

Jon and Kate Plus 8 has become so huge and people are watching. I'm wondering what's going to be the end of this reality. Of course we all know Kate has expressed that she is here to stay as she has found her "niche" in television. Kate has become a larger-than-life persona where she has made a gigantic following, mostly women. I know that whatever she says is the truth of her situation and I believe that she is doing the best that she could for her eight kids. And for that I say, "Amen!"

Sad for Kate and Jon

I know it's coming but I still feel sad that Jon and Kate Gosselin's marriage ended in divorce. I think fame have been too much for them. And even if they deny it, it's their reality show that started this out. Ironically, they cannot quit their TV show-- maybe they are under contract or something or maybe they are financially obliged to. The Gosselins have been well blessed with the show -- with a nice house, vacations, and a career for Kate but look where it led them.

It is just so sad to see Kate being so sad herself. On the other hand, Jon was indifferent. Like all the love to his wife had been flushed out of him. Every follower of Jon and Kate Plus 8 knows how Kate had treated Jon, even admitting to herself that she had been hard on him. But of course Kate justifies everything as she always does. She has this kind of thing about her -- that of packaging herself as blameless.

I don't want to judge her or him -- they have more than what's going on in front of the camera. It's just really really sad to know of the divorce and I thought about it all night.

TLC's three Big New Epsiodes

Tonight, starting at 8 PM, TLC will air three new episodes back-to-back, Little People, Big World, Jon & kate Plus 8, and the Duggars called 17 Kids and Counting.

Little People, Big World - I have been watching the marathon this weekend realizing that I've missed a lot of episodes. They were building a bigger house and the kids are older looking. I think the new episode will be called Little People, Bigger World.

Jon & kate Plus 8 - I'm tired watching the reruns and glad that they have new episodes. It's interesting to see the kids who would be bigger by now and watch all the growing pains, troubles, and happiness the whole family is going through.

17 Kids and Counting - I always love the Duggars since I saw their first show. I think they just have 14 kids then. Now, they are going to be 18. What a family. It's my opinion that Michelle and Jim Bob are really trying to have many children as much and as long as they can.

The Duggars have always fascinated me. The children are healthy, well-disciplined, and no one whas a genetic illness which is common to a big family. I admire the parenting method of Michelle and Jim Bob.

Gosselins Are Home

I think the producer of the show, Jon and Kate Plus 8 is running out of ideas. The Gosselins are not going anywhere special nowadays -- just staying home, doing fashion shows, talent shows, and narratives on parenting style.

But it doesn't get boring. I still like to watch it. A mother of eight with her hair always done is such an amusement, sometimes, I can't believe Jon and Kate Plus 8 is reality TV.

Well, I admire Kate for being on top of her looks. She is on TV -- give her a break.

Special Day for the Gosselin Kids

So Jon and Kate are trying to give each of their eight kids a special day by just being with one kid one day at a time.

I think this is very sweet idea. Parents should take time with their kids but if the kids are too many, no one would feel their specialness.

I applaud Kate for always being on top of her game with regard to looking good. She always have her hair done and she dresses well during the show. What's more, every time she has a chance, she goes to spa -- whether at home or on vacation -- to pamper herself. Now, that's a mother of eight who knows how to take care of herself.

Kate Is Thankful

Kate Gosselin, in an episode of Jon and Kate Plus Eight, was thankful. She said there was a time when she was pregnant with the sextuplets that she thought they would not even afford to go to the park for recreation. She said to be given a chance to go to ______ is such a blessing.

I think Kate, mother of eight (two twins and a sextuplet) should be thanking reality TV. Because of being in a reality show, the family is able to go to rather expensive vacations several times a year. They get to party with the characters of DisneyWorld, ski the mountains of Utah, touch the big tress of California, and bathe in the sunshine of Florida. Really, not an ordinary family of ten can afford.

Now, I'm thinking of having sextuplets myself.
